Hi,

I've got a Ideal HE24 Boiler that is 5 years old.

It was serviced in Jan, and has been ok.

This morning it is dead, no diplay, no hot water.
The switch for it is on, the fuse is ok, the timer panel (seperate) turns on/off with the switch.
I've turned off the fuse box and on, nothing is tripped.
The pressure for the boiler is at 1.4bar
It was working fine last night.

I'm stumped as to what to look at next, I dont really want to pay British Gas £200 quid to come look at it.

Oh, and to top it off, Im moving out on Friday (selling the current house).

Can any one suggest any ideas?

Jeff

£146 plus vat hrpc. parts centre plus gas engineer to install.

Why should he get it at this price? Retail is over £200 + VAT. With fitting it usually comes out about £320
