I need some advice with my mums boiler. I am Corgi Reg but mainly install new instalations. the fault is that the pilot lights, but does not cross light to the main burner, it keeps sparking at both the pcb and at the pilot , i have fitted a new pcb but still the same, any ideas please.

Sounds like flame rectification isn't happening. Check the electrode in the pilot light flame and the connections to it and the pcb as well as the lead its self.
Could be the pilot light is not quite big enough to heat it up enough for the pcb to be told it is there.

,Thanks gas4you, the pilot is big enough but i think ill go out and get a new lead and a electrode, thanks for your reply
