I remember going to see Mike Sarne at Lee Tower Ballroom, Lee on Solent, Hampshire,,, in the Sixties. He was a big attraction then. He sang that song live, but invited any female to go up on stage with him, to sing the Wendy Richard bit of the song. The tower etc was sadly demolished, many years ago.
