indesit dishwasher- not draining

Hi, We have an indesit slimline dishwasher (IDL40), that won't drain.
We have checked pipe for blockages etc. The first two lights out of four on the panel are flashing and it doesn't explain in the manual what this means!! Just wondered if anyone had any ideas?!

mine is filling with water, then stopping and flashing the first and second lights, can anyone help. this error code not in the booklet

hi, most dishwashers have a set time to fill eg. 4 mins. if it dos not fill within the set time main board thinks there is a fault and flashes at you......supply line is not restricted , mesh filters at end of fill hose are not clogged and tap is fully opened. hose kinked when macine is pushed back into position. frank

hi, if you select a new programmes the first funtion the machine will do is empty if you hear no sound or a faint hum its likely a blocked pump eg fishbone piece of glass etc.frank
