I have an Indesit W123 washing machine that has a mind of its own !

The machine stopped mid cycle and now refuses to continue. When you set the programme and turn it on, the light flashes rapidily 3 times and then the programme dial spins all the way round and stops on the original programme that it stopped on.

Have checked the pump and hose - both clear

Can you help.....

As far as I remember 3 flashes is a faulty thermistor. Check the wiring at the thermistor and at the pcb. (Thermistor is in the heater).
