Hi,

We had an inspection chamber repaired yesterday as the original benching had broken up and foul was getting snagged on the sharp edges.

The repair took place whilst I was at work and the Mrs forgot to ask the builder how long to leave the fresh benching concrete to cure before we can use the downstairs loo again.

I know this is a how long is a piece of string type question due to there being many possible variables on type of material used, but as a rough estimate, how long should we leave it before using the toilet again? Would 24 hours be long enough?

Cheers

If he used Prompt cement it sets in minutes...so no waiting needed.

I expect he will answer during the day tomorrow.

Generally in warm weather like now ordinary cement will be pretty hard after 24 hours.

So I would say that during summer 24 hrs is fine.

But below 15 C would suggest at least 2-3 days and even more in colder weather.
