Installing a Cooker Hood but unsure about wiring

I have a Fused Connection Unit next to where my Cooker Hood is about to be mounted. There is a lead coming out of the wall where the hood is to be mounted with yellow, blue and brown wire inside. I think is is what is coming from the FCU, would this sound right? The hood to be wall mounted only has blue and brown wires inside the lead. Can anybody advise as to how the hood is connected to the FCU?
