What does everyone use to insulate around the fittings of plastic pipe. I have loads of the 25mm thick climaflex stuff for the 15 and 22mm pipes. My first thought is to just use some hair felt wrapped around, with maybe some foil tape around that to keep it tidy.

Oops, just re-read it, covering the fittings. Just cut a small piece of insulation off, cut it lengthways into 3 and then just use the 3 pieces to make a wider section and tape it together over the fitting

What I tend to do is use the correct size insulation on the pipe and step up a size on the fittings and cut / mitre to cover tees / elbows etc then apply tape to secure.
So use 22mm insulation on 15 mm fittings, 28 mm on 22 mm fittings etc.
