In case you cant open the link, the EAN is 4074212. They are plastic stilts that allow you to have another 30cm of insulation below your loft boards. An excellent idea given most lofts dont have deep joists. Has anyone used them or come across them? They look like they might be a bit flimsy under sideways pressure.

Oh Lordy!

The ***** DIY'er will be using these in loft conversions instead of strengthening the floor!

They will see it as an ideal way of overcoming the insulation, ceiling binders, cables, pipes, etc.

:p

If you are wise with the fixings and light with the loads as well as canny with the flooring, then i could see this working as an answer to light storage problems.
Shear could be a problem but could be solved with restraint fixings anchored vertically from the existing joist up to the rafter.
