I have a 1930's bungalow that i want to modernise. Currently it is rendered on the top half and brick on the bottom half. The divide is marked by a line of bricks that are slightly proud of the rest.
I would like to continue the render down to ground level, is there a render that allows me to do this without the damp rising. I would imagine most are stopped above the ground and DPC. Also, is it possible to chip away the portion of brick that is proud along the current dividing line?
