Is There Anything Like a 'Parallel' Terminal Block?

Inserting from one end means you wont foul the other cores in the hole by pushing against them.

But for several cables, a choc box isn't designed for this, as the cables approach from both ends. Like ban says, it depends on the direction of the cables.

As a matter of interest, how would a pro. insulate a connector block in a tight space, e.g. base of a light fitting, before the chocbox? It was only invented on the Dragon's Den quite recently, I think.

Depended what you are up against, if there is access then a JB above with a single cable drop was one option. Installing an enclosure such as one of these to house terminal block was another option. Putting all the wires into the base of the light fitting if they would go was another option.
