Ah I see what you mean, the original feeds to the two flats come out of the supply fuse (100A?) and just disappear into conduits.

That is what was there, must have been 'right' once.

I suppose they are protected in the conduits, but it would be hard to get a larger cable into the conduit. Pretty easy for me to fit a new cable but a lot harder for the higher flat.

I guess an isolating switch on both would be a good idea, one for a rewire in a few years time.
