My roof was bubbling, most likely from trapped moisture. I got a repair quote for $600. He started the job and it was not repaired the way I thought it would. He cut out a bit, let the air out, and resealed. It's still bubbly which he claims is the uneven insulation under.
Job Proposal:
1) Cut-off air pocket on front roof; then cover-up with modified bitumen. Apply modified bitumen to overlap right and left side roof.
Is this proper? Or did I get ripped off?
Also, the roof will have a low point in the middle where water will pool! Is that terrible?
