Shortly i will be replacing and moving radiators around my house.

Basically i do not have the equipment to solder the joints so will need to get compression or push joints. However i am sceptical to how good they are.

Can anyone reassure me?

Get practising on soldering, there is a post how to in the FAQS :D

Initial outlay on equipment will be beneficial in the long run when offset against appearance and cost of fittings. Also, to be honest, is quicker and easier to fit solder joints.
