Sorry to disappoint guys but am nothing like the lady in the video with the shewee.

I actually got that name years ago when I lived in a HA block with a load of other single mums who all used to bitch behind eachothers backs. I tried to keep out of it, but was told by one that the others all referrerd to me at "that blue peter woman" behind my back because I was always making stuff.

Oh and in reply to Joe 90. The husband I was referring to is; the D*head who pays the mortgage . However his total disinterest in home improvements does have the advantage that I get to make all the choices. And he is great at lots of other stuff that I hate doing (and can do electrics to) so works out OK most of the time.

Will post my ongoing niggles with door-slam dampeners (and hinges in general ) in carpentry later (appears to be the place for kitchen fitting stuff).
