Hi All

Due to an increasing need for storage space, I am looking into getting my loft into a good condition that will allow me to safely store many belongings. I am happy with what I need to do to increase my loft hatch and to add strength to the existing joists & Boarding.

However, I would be grateful for some advice in how to keep the loft clean and ventilated. The current state of the roof is that it was tiled without any felt. Therefore, at the moment it is very well ventilated but this has allowed for a large built up of dirt within my attic space. I guess what I am looking for is a suitable kind of membrane that I can staple to the roof joists that will acheive my aim of keeping the dirt out but will not lead to condensation problems later on due to poor ventilation. Are there any suitable products that people can recommend or any alternative?

Thanks in advance.
