Absolutely true story.
I'd be interested in any views.

Sitting by my pond today, reading the newspaper, cold beer in the sunshine that kind of thing. Watching the fish and baby frogs.
Happiness all round.

But NO......... The f*cking snakes are back.
Now I've done some research on this subject via the internet, but the consensus of opinion seems to be..........'you should think yourself lucky'.

Lucky ??? LUCKY???  Lucky for who exactly????
Certainly not for me, or more importantly for the frogs swelling the bellies of these b*stard things. One looks to be a touch over 3ft and the other two about 2ft.

I've never been one to moan, as some of you may know. :D
But the question is........ regardless of nature taking its natural course, Is it ethical (nature-wise) for me to kill these sneaky b*stards?????????

I know its illegal to kill them.

I would rather they ate the frogs that get into my koi pond!

although I do like frogs :)

You are lucky, there are people in the UK who have never seen a snake in the wild.

All snakes in the UK are protected by law against being killed or injured.

Just collect them up and take them to a safe area for release.

frogs are horrid nasty little b'stards ,why let them live and kill beautiful snakes?

It's ethical to kill them in Ireland.

I love snakes personally.

Adders, average 2-3 ft
Grasssnakes 3-4 although 6ft not unheard of.
Could be a Rat Snake if your in Wales ( import escaped from zoo, only seen in Wales for some reason).
As you have water and its eating frogs its probably a Grass snake.
It is against the law to harm or kill these.

frogs legs are a lovely delicacy.

If you say so...
