Hello and thanks in advance for your answers

We are aiming to fit a bespoke kitchen in a small space and have two specific questions about appliances.

Is it possible in principle to position an oven above a fridge in a column arrangement. I know it sounds a daft idea but with good heat resistant materials and insulation could it be possible?

Secondly, other than size, is there a difference between a built in and built under oven? We are figuring that if the answer to the first question is positive we can put a small 70cm high (built under) double oven above a standard 85cm fridge...

what do you think?

thanks

Tom

in my opinion a definate no no
because the heat generation will excede the normal operating temp range for the fridge

you must seperate hot and cold zones by a neutral zone fo efficient operation

Disagree with big all, the oven above the fridge, should not be a problem as long as you vent the fridge & the oven, properly.
There is no difference between a built in & built under oven, there is a difference with a 'slip in oven'.

You ought to have a vent in the plinth at the bottom, and a clear ventway up the back of both appliances, open at the top, so that warm air is drawn up like a chimney.
