Hi, we have fitted a new sink and taps but the pipework from the sink doesnt reach the waste pipe. The wastepipe is higher than the piping so do we need to adjust the piping so as it is higher than the waste? It looks like we will have to cut all the piping as its much lower than the previous piping but am not sure what flow levels need to be to the waste pipe or how we can get round this ??

Extend your waste pipe so that it meets the new trap. You will need a 1 inch fall for every metre of waste pipe for correct drainage.

For what it costs I would renew all the waste pipe and bends etc as long as you can get access to it. :D
