Hey Folks!

Never really sure if asking for 'recommendations' on different commercial products is PC or not? Sure a Mod' will ditch this if not....

Have a potential client looking to replace their electric shower for an up-to-date model with a bit more 'woof'....

So.... any thoughts on something reliable with a decent bit of heat and a decent flow?

Ta!

mira sport max is only one but their is a list as long as my arm.
whats he want to pay for one ?

On 1 hand price isn't too much of an issue - but not silly money for 'designer looks'.

Looking at various specs, you can go to approx 10.5kw, which should indicate heating ability & therefore maximum flow rate at a reasonable temperature.... Kinda wondering how those like Mira Sport are able to be better for the extra money?

For electric showers, Mira and Triton are the only two companies that should really be considered IMHO.

If your client wants a more powerful shower than the one they have presently, be aware that the electric cable to the shower may well need upgrading to cope with the extra load. This needs to be done by a qualified electrician.

10.8kw (at 240 volts...) is the highest power electric shower I'm aware of. Flow rates will vary slightly between showers of the same power, but not greatly. Some of the cost difference is related to the quality of the included fittings (riser, hose, head etc), some is to do with the design, some is to do with whether they are thermostatic or not etc etc. Also some showers will have longer warranties than others.

Do you need a shower for a mains or tank-fed installation?
