We are being told we have to fit laminated windows in our ground floor extension (Aberdeen building standards). Is this correct or will toughened glass be adequate?
The requirement is generally "safety glass" as per BS 6262: Part 4, but it seems the Scottish regs say "laminated glass or a similarly robust glazing material".
Either way laminated, toughened or wired are more or less the same as per the British Standard
