Hi

I am shortly going to have a block shed built at the bottom of my garden. In front of this will be grass that slopes down slightly towards the shed.

In the case of heavy rain could there be a problem with water running down and sitting against the block shed?

Should I be doing something to avoid any future problems?

Yes

When it rains now the water running down the slope must be draining away somewhere unless you have a pond at the bottom.

Consider putting in drainage to collect the water running towards the shed and take it past the shed to where it drains now.

Raise the floor level of the shed a few inches above ground level to prevent water getting onto the floor
