I bought a Quality used carpet at an Auction about two years ago and it has been left still rolled up on my house stairs since.

I am concerned that now i need to lay it in a room that i will have great problems trying to smooth out the inevitable creases once unrolled, has anyone got some advice on keeping the carpet flat.

Get the carpetin and really really warm, prefferably laid out flat prior to fitting, generally they soften up alot once warm and laid out, if there are creases that have been in it where the roll has been 'flat' then after two years don't have too high a hopes that the creases will fall out, it may take months, it's likely they will never come out.
