Laying block and beam floor

Hi.

Can someone tell me what the best way is to lay beams onto foundations.

I cannot use a crane mounted vehicle due to access restrictions, so I was going to hire a mini excavator and driver for the day.

I also thought that some form of mini crane, similar to a spider boom lift would be a good idea.

Can you hire anything like this or does someone have a better idea.

Mini digger with some sort of sling system sounds a good idea with restricted access.

I think I'm going to use the digger.

It's much cheaper and I can also use it for some other ground works.

Lots of hands would be my choice. Quicker to get some mates round.
