Is it ok to use 'Postcrete' when laying slabs - I have to re - lay 6 slabs that make up some steps (2x3) - I wanted them to go off quickly - thanks

Bear in mind that you get about a minute before this stuff goes off...personally I'd use a mix that doesn't set so quick!

A sand/cement mortar will go off overnight.
a sand and cement mortar mix will go off in a couple of hrs if you use a activator and a good strong mix.
you must use a mortar mix on steps as it needs to bond and hold the slabs so they dont move or you will be facing a claim in the near future
