I am about to lay down a latex screed on a suspended concrete floor, the floor has dipped in the middle do to historic movement and i was going to lay a 3mm screed down just to level the floor. After checking the level of the floor width wise there is a 5mm dip along the centre of the room, if i was to fill the dip with a 5mm screed then this would give me a 2.5m width strip down the centre of the room.
My worry is that if i do this then the screed would be feather at the either side of the strip.would this cause a problem when glueing down the woodblock floor regarding adhesion?
cheers paul
planning on doing the screed tomorrow so need advice asap
