Leaking auto transmission

Bought car galaxy lx 7seater after driving on motor way on way home car started losing power and backfiring just about got home it was do dangerous see oil leak on floor think coming from under auto transmission would that oil leak make car lose power

It would certainly lose drive.....the symptom would be similar to jumping into a neutral gear from time to time.
Not sure about the back firing though!

Th ax nks think oil leak is coming from auto sump gasket is it hard job wanted to check oil in transmission but can't see dip stick have I mist it have to get manual

Dropping the sump off is no big deal, so long as there isn't any cross member in the way to restrict you.
At the same time there will be a filter within the sump that needs to be changed or cleaned (usually a dealer part, that one.)
Check that the leak is actually from there, before you bash on......maybe there's a youtube to help you, somewhere.
