Have knocked my radiators valve (has a little white cap on it) accidently and not a small drip comes from where it seems to join the pipework. How can i quickly cure this please will i need to empty the radiator?

if its the valve to pipework side then draining the rad won't do nothing.

have you damaged the pipe ?
you can try tightening the nut abit.

Have you tried applying LS-X leak repair? dunno if it would work but have read a lot of rave reviews about it.

if it was on the rad side-you could drain your rad and fit a new olive if tightening didn't work. on the pipe side, yu'll need to probably drain down as best bet and undo inspect and change olive

i see!! is there nothing else i can do to seal it until sunday when i have the whole day off to do this? is the leak sealer as mentioned worth a try or any good?
