We got snow recently and was wondering if i could leave the boiler on all day everyday until it cleared as when turned the heating off one night by the next morning when i got up it must of been minus outside and in the house it was 4C so the next night after the heating was on i turned the combi boiler to frost protection which keeps the boiler at 30C, the other good thing about it was it kept the house at 12C.

So would this damage the boiler keeping it on frost protection 24/7 - apart from turning it up when needed (between 6pm-11pm)?

no damage at all mate. you could just set it on 24 hour and turn it down a night.
