I wish to put a small led flashing light into my car

I bought one years ago, and it wired to my ignition wires on the back of the ingition switch, the light came on when the ignition was OFF

Now, I have a fiat, and I want one of these small lights and have ordered one from ebay, how do i wire it, so that it only comes on with ignition OFF, without having to use a seperate switch??

who cares? a led draws so little i would wire it across the battery via a fuse

and thats fine, but I dont want it flashing in my face at night, when I am driving, you see.

Do you need to have the ignition on in order to power your radio, if so take it from the radio power feed.

its no problem all you have to do is connect the red wire of led to permanent live and the black wire to ignition live.
