I have a 22LG3000, it is in a spare bedroom & does not get a lot of usage.
This week go to use it & the menu appears, the arrow keys do not move the icon (I have another LG tv that uses the same remote, so I know it must be the TV).
Its like the remote is locked out except for sound & channels, yet the instructions say you will see 'locked' if that is the case.
Is there a way of doing a hard reset, as in computers / phones.

If the remote isn't making the cursor move then you're going to have trouble selecting the factory reset.

There are a couple of things to try here. The first is fresh batteries in the remote. I know that this sounds really basic and that you know the remote works the other telly and it does Vol and Ch+/-, but there's no harm in trying.

If no joy there then try the TV's hard buttons (page 8 of the manual). Pressing Menu on the TV will change Vol +/- Ch +/- to make them become Up Down Left Right. The OK button is used for enter/select.

Did we help? If so, use the THANKS button on EACH post. It's free, it shows your appreciation in a tangible way by awarding Thanks Received's, and the thanks mark on a post shows readers who might stuble across this site in a Google search that you found the advice helpful. Thank you
