Light cord takes 3 pulls to switch lights on in bathroom

Dear all

wondering if anyone could help.

I have spotlights in the bathroom with a light cord to switch them on and off.

Lately it took 2 pulls for the lights to switch on. Now it takes 3 pulls to switch the lights on.

Whatcould be the problem be here?

I have previously replaced one of the halogen bulbs - coul dthis be the case I think I may have put a 50 watt in instead of 35 watt.

Sounds like you need a new switch, or have a loose connection.
