hi, been asked to do a small job for a customer, im puttin a light inside his shower but instead of having the light switching with other lights in the bathroom he wants it switching when he pulls the pullcord for the shower... to do this i was going to break into the cable going from the pullcord to the shower with henley block then out to a fused spur, from ther with a bit of 1mm cable fused at 3amp to the light, does this sound ok?

Does your customer know that he's paying someone to do the job who has to ask on a DIY forum how to do it?
I'm not sure how/why you would use Henley blocks. Where will the CPCs go? How will you securely terminate the conductors while maintaining the outer sheath until the cable enters the box?
If you can find a way to successfully split the shower supply post-isolator and bring a conductor of equal size into the supply terminals of an FCU, what you propose seems fairly sound. All the usual rules still apply - RCD protection, correct fixtures for the zone, etc. In addition, if you're not a member of a self-certification scheme nor do you have any intention of notifying your LABC and paying their notification fee, you shouldn't be doing this work.
Personally, I'd be using a flow switch rather than relying on the shower isolator as a light switch. I know a lot of people will turn off their electric showers at the DP isolator when not in use, but IMO this isn't necessary and they shouldn't be used this way.
