Hello - we need to decorate the whole of the upstairs of our house. it's an early 50s house and there are numerous hairline cracks in the plasterwork and round doors and ceilings along the panels. The walls also have various lumps and bumps.
Rather than strip back to the walls and replaster everywhere, is using lining paper that can be painted the answer? and if so, what would people recommend. Thanks for any advice.
