In a shower, when you apply liquid membrane over cement board and then tile over it, how does it work exactly in repelling water? I presume if you seal the grout lines and silicone the corners/edges, water shouldn’t in theory get to the liquid membrane layer. But if it does, I can’t see how the water can get back out if it is sealed everywhere else.
