While vacuuming recently I noticed a loose carpet thread was picked up by the vacuum. On closer inspection I noticed a few more threads were poking out higher than the rest of the carpet. We have only recently moved into our property and I was wondering what the best thing to do is. We have quite a powerful vacuum (Dyson) and the carpets were steam cleaned before we moved in. I've read on websites to cut the loose carpet thread so it is the same size as the rest of the carpet. Does anyone have any suggestions?
