Please help.

We live in a true bungalow and have two electric showers. We have noticed that the water coming out of the showers is just a dribble and if both showers are in use at same time, or washing machine is in use at same time then the shower shows low pressure light and will not work.

We are not sure if the problem stems from having a combi boiler installed or because we have a 'sure stop' valve fitted.

do the showers go cold when the low pressure light comes on ?
the low pressure light will come on when running another appliance or tap if your dynamic pressure drops to low for that shower.

as for the showers being a dribble is this if only one shower on at at time ?
can be filters blocked.
stopcock not fully open.

i wouldn't of said your combi, surestop are an issue as the showers are straight from the mains cold.

Thanks for the response. We cannot run 2 showers at same time, the water runs cold and then stops, the same happens if the washer is on.

'The filters may be blocked'? which filters?

The 'surestop' is fitted very near to the stopcock, could it have become blocked? Our water does have limescale deposits.

Does the water run into the showers prior to the boiler, which is in the garage furthest away from the stopcock?

what happens if you run two cold taps does the one upstairs stop running ?

your shower will go cold if the dynamic pressure drops to low but shouldn't stop running cold.
