Hi everyone,

I have just bought a little one bedroom 4th floor flat, which has an ancient hot water cylinder / water storage tank / boiler setup however the water pressure is still too low to have a shower in.

Is there any way I can replace the existing system with only a boiler and increase the water pressure sufficiently?

Thanks very much

Check the pressure and flowrate at the kitchen tap. If it's good then a combi might be the way forward

or a shower pump will cost you about £1,000 less.

Or an electric shower with built in pump like the Triton T80si pumped will only require a tank with 8cm head.
