Hi
I’ve had some electrical work done. I asked the spark to run some cat 6 cable for me (while he was running electrical cables) and just leave the cat6 cables to be terminated later.
I’m now looking to purchase faceplate and modules to have these cables terminated.
Just seen in the specs for the MK K5846WHI module that minimum box depth is 35mm.
Only the dry-line box he installed is 35mm. All the metal boxes chased into brick are 25mm. Not his fault, I didn’t specify.
What I need to know are is this requirement likely to be common to all cat 6 data modules? Do I need to remove the backboxes and chase out for 35mm boxes?
Cheers
