Mira Sport 9.8Kw and 10.8Kw What Cable

Hi All;

Planning to refit my bathroom and want to install a good Mira Shower.

I will get an electrician to install but but just needed to ask what size cable would I need for a 9.8 or 10.8Kw shower.

There is a very old electric shower fitted at the moment and the cable looks about 10mm?

Don't worry - your electrician will know what size cable to use and it'll be cheaper for you to have him supply it because he will be buying it for less than you'll be able to.

If the Electrician is installing then you will need for him to spec. the cable as his name will be on the test cert. !

Without a lot of experience you can't judge the csa of cable conductors by eye.

What are you using to measure the diameter of the L&N conductors?

Almost certainly not

Cable size depends on various things but your spark will know.

You will need RCD protection for this circuit
