had the walls plastered in the house about august time. still not moved in yet but having problems with green mould on the skirting boards. house is 1958. i have had the heating on for the past couple of weeks (until then windows have been open but heating off) but the windows are still having condensation on them. would it be ok to use a dehumidifier or would the plaster still be wet and by using the dehumidifier could cause the plaster to shrink/crack?

thanks

If the walls were plastered in August, the plaster should now be dry, so extracting moisture from the room should have no effects on the plaster.
It does sound like you still have a problem with moisture though, this could be because the house has not been lived in and needs a good drying out, but I would be concerned and make sure that there are not other damp isssues.
