I'm shortly moving to a flat with solid floors and want to move the position of a radiator. The current pipe work is 15 mm set into the concrete floor. I don't want to run the new pipe work round the skirting board (and don't want to touch the floor) so can I use a reducing joint and use 8mm microbore tubing which I could then sink in the plaster work?

I'll have to get back to you on that one as I've not moved in yet so not had a chance to measure up.
