my siemens rev23rf has lost connection

My rev23rf has lost connection with the Rev-R.03/1. I have tried all the things the manual tells me but still it will not connect. It was OK yesterday went to put heating on and it lost connection. Please help.

Have you tried new batteries? (only use Duracell)

yes i have added new battery and they are duracell

Does it work if you move the control unit closer to the receiver?

How is power supplied to the receiver?

no i have put the controller right next the receiver.

I assume you mean directly connected to the mains and not via another timer.

Did you check that all the time temperature settings have been retained?

Do the lights respond correctly when you follow the commissioning instructions to link the transmitter and receiver? If not, one of the components is faulty.

Commissioning Instructions
Switch on power and press “RESET” button for about 4 seconds:
Orange LED_2 flashes briefly.
Then, press “SET” button for about 4 seconds:
Orange LED_2 flashes slowly;
learning mode is active.

Within 25 minutes press “ESC” button on REV23.03RF for about 4 seconds:
Orange LED_2 flashes fast and briefly;
LED_1 changes from red to flashing green.

After commissioning, the unit will operate automatically

If you have had the stat for less than one year, make a claim for replacement under the warranty; and if less than two years make the claim under the Sale of Goods Act.
