I recently removed the fused junction box and transformer that powered my old front door bell...it was in an upstairs bedroom. I replaced it with a normal twin plug socket.

But now my wall lights in my downstairs extension do not work......what could be causing this problem??? any suggestions

yes, but i replaced the box with a plug which works and wired everything else up...could the circuit now be overloaded?

i would check the wiring to make sure you got it right it sounds like you might have a wire in the wrong place :eyes
