Ccleaner seems to have lost its potency.

Any suggestions ?

Nah, all those 'genes' must have finally overcome the lad, that and the harem maintenance... He disappeared overnight with nary a 'Bye your leave'...
That may winkle (hah!) him out if he browses still...

Only took four months to get back.

Have you got the latest updates and have you set it correctly in the Cleaner section?
CCLEANER Setup Instructions
Browsers may be set to keep Browsing History and Cookies and Search History for up to 90 days, in which case Ccleaner will not remove them.

Have you set your browsers to clear History and Cookies when shutting down the browser? Tools > Options > (then depending on your browser), set it to delete what ever you want shifting when you close.
