Need a recommendation for an IP CCTV camera

I want to buy an IP CCTV camera

Anything wrong with cheap ones from eBay?
Or should I go to a more reputable reseller?

I want email sent when motion is detected with image captures
If it were possible to send video as well (to an FTP location), that would be great (I haven't seen any that do this)

Not that bothered about having waterproof outdoor model

Other than that, I don't really have that much requirements

Any advice would be great

I have exactly the same thing in my mind but not getting enough time. I think a cheap cam should be ok, as long as you are ok with the image quality. You can then use a freeware from www.ispyconnect.com
Please let me know how it goes..

i want a standalone camera - and don't want to hook up a laptop

i had concerns over using the software as well - i heard about the headlines a short while back where someone had hacked into a baby monitor in the usa

does ispyconnect work for standalone machines?
