neff freezer not freezing???

hello I have a Neff fridge freezer and the freezer has just stopped freezing,,,fridge is ok but freezer is hardly working,,,alarm keeps going off,,,any ideas anyone???

yes I think it is,,,it has a fan at the top of the freezer section,,,ive read a few of the stories below and shall try turning it off to defrost etc...
