Hi,
I am building a conservatory cavity wall which the DPC will join to the bungalow dpc.
Its an old bungalow we have and the dpc was done with slate and as you can see, its a pretty big mortar joint inc dpc (30mm).
My question is, where would you recommend my dpc joins up to? It seems they have used 2 rows of slate with 3 10mm mortar joints.
To complicate things, from one side of the house to the other side of the house, the DPC is not level, so I am in a no win situation. I guess I have to take some middle ground.
The bricks come up to basically where my pencil line is on the profile board
