I have a ravenheat 82et combi, i can only get hot water when the heating is on. I have summised it is a problem with the diverter valve after reading a lot of posts on the forum. Is the task of replacing the diaphragm fairly simple and would it require the removal of the valve. If so are the washers for the valve available seperately as they do not come with the diaphragm kit. Or should i get a man in and how much would i expect to be charged for the job. Any advice u can give me will be appreciated.

Have got the original instructions, all they show is the removal of the diverter and the installation which it says is the opposite of removal it doesn't go into the replacing of the diaphragm at all.

I don't know the boiler intimately , but if you can get a screwdriver onto the 6 screws around the diaphragm housing (big bit on the end) you can do it in situ.
You could take the diaphragm housing off the diverter by undoing the 2 small allen-grub screws and both the "1/2" "nuts. It would dribble.

(spring goes towards the switches)

thanks for that advice will try tomorrow if i can remove the microswitch while in situ otherwise could be a little awkward.

I think you'll find the microswitch goes round and round, as long as the wire lets it. It's held on by a black metal L spring thing. Easy to remove unless rusty!
