Was planning on building a small section of flat roof in a short "alley way" at the side of the house - basically marine ply with a felt covering.

However I'm not sure on how to create the edges - don't really want to dress the felt up the walls as I don't want to cut into the walls to create the right seal (terminology probably all wrong!)

Would a cement skew work around the perimeter of the felt roof - it will have wall son 3 sides and a short gutter on the 4th edge

A cement fillet on a construction like that is going to be prone to cracking.
If you dont want to cut into brick and fit a lead flashing you will be better of using flash band tape.
Prime the brick upstand, use gentle heat from a hot air gun to soften the flash band to get a better adhesion.

Two of the walls (one being the house wall) are stone so not exactly even or flat. Would flash bandin tape adhere to stone
